Keyword Research Tools
Lately I’ve been working on building a new affiliate site that compares the top 6 keyword research tools.
Keyword research is important if you want to be successful with pay per click marketing (or search engine optimization). Some of the tools I review on the site (such as KeyCompete) are able to download the actual keywords that your competitors are using in the pay per click search engines.
What I do is log into KeyCompete, type in a keyword that relates to my niche, download all my competitors keyword lists, then compile them all into 1 massive list using TXTCollector. I then go through the file and delete any poor keywords.
I’m a keyword research junky, so I tend to purchase way too many keyword tools. All the tools I review on the site come from my own personal experience using them.
In the coming days, I’m going to make another post which talks about how I built the site and created the content. I’ll also discuss how I set up the affiliate keyword tracking and affiliate link cloaking to make sure I know which keywords are converting into sales, without tipping off Google that I’m running an affiliate site.

I am interested to see how this proceeds it should be informative. I’ll also look into KeyComplete on my next keyword project.
