How To Find A Niche
There’s plenty of ways to find a niche. One of the best ways I’ve found is to look for an unsolved problem in the marketplace, then create a solution to that problem.
If the market is large enough, you may have a very viable business.
Many of the most successful businesses were built by people who couldn’t find a solution to their problem. Tom Stemberg couldn’t find a printer ribbon, so he opened Staples :)
I like to use Board Tracker, which tracks 57 million forum threads on 38,000 forums. Simply do a search for “no solution” !
Here’s a video:

Josh,
I tried the BoardTracker idea for niches and it didn’t work. Going forward, do you think the site precludes marketers from using the resource this way?
Your site is fantastic by the way.
Safe Travels,
