How to Sign Up With Google Adwords

In this tutorial, I’m going to walk you through the process of signing up for Google Adwords. It’s actually a very simple process.

1) First, click the link below to get started with the Adwords sign-up process:

2) Click the Sign Up Now button:

3) Choose the “Standard Edition” then click “Continue” (or use our tool above to see if the Basic Edition is right for you):

Remember, the Standard Edition allows you greater flexibility in targeting and is the correct option if you want to advertise
multiple products or are advertising in multiple locations. Even if you have a single product, you should still choose the
Standard Edition because it allows you to create highly targeted Ad Groups. Although, if you are not comfortable with taking
control of your marketing campaign, you can select the Basic Edition and later upgrade to the Standard Edition from your Adwords
account.

4) Select the language you would like to advertise in, choose the regional targeting of your ad, then click “Continue”:

Countries and Territories – Use this option if you want your ad to be displayed to the entire country.

Region and Cities – Select this option if you are a local based business, or you want to only advertise in one area or city.

Customized – This option is good if you have a very specific area you want to advertise in, defined by several point on a map.

5) Now, you need to write targeted text that will appear in your ad:

Keep in Mind:

  • What is the conversation inside your customers head? Try to enter the conversation inside the person’s head.
  • Make your you have “message to market match” – Meaning, if you are advertising under a particular keyword, match up your ad text to relate to the keyword.
  • Use feature & benefit rich headlines and descriptions for your ad.
  • Offer a call to action, such as a coupon code or a reduced rate.
  • Read the ad out loud and see if it makes sense to you

6) Now select your current, daily budget & Maximum Cost Per click:

Remember, you are not always charged your Maximum cost per click (CPC), although you should expect to pay a price close to your maximum CPC each time someone clicks on your ad.

7) Finally, click the “Continue to Signup” button
